A heartfelt welcome to all the families joining us as we open our doors and embrace all those interested in the Chinese language and culture. We are thrilled to have you and thank you for your support. This is an exciting time for us and for the Chinese language worldwide. In addition to learning the language because it might be a part of your child’s heritage, it is also an important language for the future. You are giving your child a gift of language that will provide him/her with a greater sense of cultural and social awareness, increased work/educational opportunities and enhanced brain development that results in stronger academic performance, especially in verbal and mathematic skills*.

The inspiration for ChinaKids is all of you; hence, our mission is to provide access to learning the Chinese language and culture in creative and effective ways. We are passionate about helping all of you learn the Mandarin Chinese dialect and have created a curriculum that teaches words and phrases that are used in day to day life so it is applicable and relevant to our lives. We focus on conversational skills. Learning is through music, fun activities, games, art, and other creative approaches.

As we launch our inception year, we are doing everything we can to assist kids and families to internalize the sound system of Mandarin Chinese, which is critical in order to really know a language. From the constant repetition in class, to parent only classes so parents can help reinforce the lessons at home, to making available auditory take home materials to further assist your memory of the Chinese sounds, we are confident that children will quickly progress towards proficiency. We welcome any and all suggestions you may have. We are building ChinaKids for the children of today and tomorrow.
